The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals
The Theater Company of Saugus is excited to present our winter 2026 season production of the musical The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals. Click here for more information about the show. Some cautions: The show features fog, flashing lights, cursing, suggestive innuendoes, and may not be suitable for those under age 12.
There are eight performances over two weekends:
- Thursday 5 February 2026 at 8:00 PM
- Friday 6 February at 8:00 PM
- Saturday 7 February at 8:00 PM
- Sunday 8 February at 2:00 PM matinee
- Thursday 12 February at 8:00 PM
- Friday 13 February at 8:00 PM
- Saturday 14 February at 8:00 PM
- Sunday 15 February at 2:00 PM matinee
Seating is reserved. You are advised to purchase tickets as soon as you can because seating is limited. When selecting your seats from the seating chart, you should avoid leaving an odd number of seats between your party and others. No seat is more than 15 feet from the action. The front Row B is on the floor and rows C, D, and E are on risers. The performance hall is upstairs and is not wheelchair-accessible.
How long is the show? Each of the two acts is 50 to 60 minutes, plus a 15 minute intermission.

- $30 for adults when purchased in advance online
- $27 for youth, seniors, or veterans when purchased in advance online
- $25 for groups of six (6) or more when purchased in advance online
- $35 for adults when purchased at the door
- $30 for youth, seniors, or veterans when purchased at the door

Our advance online ticket vendor TicketStage accepts any credit card to pay for seats, and charges a small extra fee. But since the advance price is lower, you still save a little. Advance online sales close four hours before the curtain time. Use the links at the top and bottom of this web page when ticket sales are open. Advance sales are not refundable, but could be exchanged for another performance of the show if we are given enough notice.
Tickets will be for sale at the door, if they are still available, where they can be paid for with cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal, but not credit cards.

Health and Safety
For COVID safety, the audience is advised to wear masks while inside the building, but this is not required. We are no longer checking the vaccination cards of the audience at the door. Although for everyone’s safety, we expect that our audience members will be fully vaccinated and boostered.

- The upstairs performance hall is NOT wheelchair accessible.
- Seating is Reserved for most shows. When selecting your seats from the seating chart, you should avoid leaving an odd number of seats between your party and others. Seating is general admission for some shows.
- There are a limited number of seats available in the hall. Patrons are advised to purchase or reserve seats early. Groups are advised to purchase early to ensure there will be room.
- Doors open 30 minutes before show time listed.
- Snacks and candy are for sale at all performances, pre-show and during intermission.
- The bar is closed for the time being. Water and soft drinks may be available.
The hall features a full cash Bar, serving alcoholic and soft drinks at very reasonable prices. Open for all performances, pre-show and during intermission. The bar only accepts cash. - Raffle tickets for wonderful prizes are for sale at all performances, pre-show and during intermission.
- Parking is available in the parking lot to the side of the American Legion building and in front of the Roby School building next door. Please do not park in the spaces directly in front of the Legion.
- Street parking is also available at no charge. Please drive carefully in the neighborhood – there are children in the vicinity.
PLEASE NOTE:
Social distancing is not possible inside the building. Current COVID safety protocols are being followed by our cast and crew. TCS is no longer requiring all audience members to be masked, but mask wearing is encouraged for those who wish to. We are no longer asking for vaccination cards from the audience at the door.
How to Purchase or Reserve Tickets
- Advance online ticket sales are open up until four hours before the performance time.
- You can use any major credit card.
- Our ticket vendor TicketStage charges a small additional fee.
- Purchases are not refundable.
- Reserve seats in advance, at least five hours before curtain time, by sending us an email to tcsaugus@gmail.com, or phoning us at 781-816-7019 and leaving a voicemail message. In your message please state:
- your name
- email address
- phone
- date and time of performance
- how many seats you want
- whether you get adult or reduced ticket price
- Purchase tickets at the door.
- Seats are usually available.
- But we sometimes sell out, so you are advised to purchase in advance.
- You can pay for your tickets at the door with:
- cash,
- check (payable to Theatre Company of Saugus),
- Venmo,
- or PayPal.
- We cannot usually accept credit cards at the door.
